REFRACTORY LINING REMOVAL

Name(Required)
tanker unit used for concrete hydrodemolition

Refractory lining removal can be carried out using ultra-high-pressure water jetting to safely remove worn or damaged refractory materials from industrial vessels, furnaces and process equipment. The process uses controlled water jets to break down refractory linings without causing unnecessary damage to the surrounding steel structure.

Over time, refractory linings can crack, spall or degrade due to extreme temperatures and operational wear. When this happens, the lining must be removed before repairs or replacement materials can be installed. Traditional mechanical removal methods can be slow and often risk damaging the underlying structure. UHP water jetting provides a more controlled removal method that allows the refractory material to be broken down and removed efficiently.

Sabre Jetting use specialist UHP water jetting equipment capable of producing pressures of up to 2800 BAR. These units allow operators to remove refractory materials with precision, even in difficult access areas such as vessels, kilns, furnaces and reactors.

Our teams regularly work in environments such as:

• Industrial furnaces
• Kilns
• Boilers
• Reactors
• Process vessels
• Incinerators

Access and Confined Space Work

Refractory lining removal often takes place within enclosed industrial vessels or process equipment. Our operatives are trained and experienced in carrying out work within confined spaces and can mobilise the appropriate equipment to carry out the task safely.

Where required, work can be supported by vacuum tanker units to remove debris and waste materials generated during the removal process.

Our operators are trained and experienced in carrying out high pressure water jetting services safely and efficiently across industrial and commercial sites.
