Plinth Removal – Phase 1

Name(Required)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We recently had a job come in to remove a plinth from a newly built bridge. The reason for the plinth removal was because the original concrete pour did not reach strength. On arrival, the Jetting team built an enclosure around the plinth and mobilised the Jetting machine and Siltbuster.

A Siltbuster HD unit was deployed for this operation due to the low volume of concrete needing to be removed. The Siltbuster was developed with technical support from Sabre Jetting Services Ltd. It adds CO2 to force the lime particles to cling together, making them large enough so they drop out in the lamella filter along with other large particles.

The Jetting Operation began and the team managed to complete the works in 90 minutes, ensuring the Steel was kept intact.

The Client signed off all the works and was very satisfied with the quality of works carried out. They have also recently rebooked Sabre to carry out another project.
