PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Approximately 2km of diaphragm wall needed the top 50mm-100mm removed to expose couplers, in readiness for the roof section rebar to be fitted. Hydrodem techniques were employed because the poor quality final concrete left by the piling rigs could be removed, and the couplers could also be exposed without damaging the important threaded section – average 1m3/shift removed.
